After I spilled my ginger ale on my laptop keyboard, with a little research I ordered a new machine and this adaptor. Fortunately the liquid did not affect the hard drive in the fried computer, and after removing it and attaching it to the adaptor I was able to transfer files to the new machine. Everything worked perfectly.
