I've had numerous old DVDs that were recorded 40+ years ago. They are interviews with deceased family members originally on video tape. The old DVD format they were moved to weren't playable on any device available until I found a plugin player from zilkee for only $46. came quickly and after getting some free online software IT WORKED! Only issue was poorly written and inadequate Instructions. this wasn't A real problem with some brief trial and error.

We have many hours of VHS movies of family and friends that were in boxes in the attic. It was way past time to figure out a way to digitize them or lose them forever. After researching the subject for a bit, sending them off to a commercial outfit for thousands of dollars was a no-go. I purchased a VHS player and started looking for a way to do it myself. I tried a couple of other ways that were unsatisfactory and then found this cable at Amazon and figured I would give it a try. It worked like a champ on Windows 10, easy set up and use. It comes with the software it needs to do the job. One downside is I wasn't able to get it to function on my Linux machines but Windows was basically plug and play. Happy with the purchase and the results.

I was desperate. My laptop would no longer boot, stopping with a BSOD. I could boot up with an old rescue disk, and was able to very that the problem was corrupted software, not bad hardware. Luckily, I had a recent Acronis backup full disk image, but no Acronis rescue disk that matched the Acronis version that created the backup. I found and downloaded the needed Acronis rescue disk image using my wife's laptop, but her's has no internal CD/DVD drive. Ordered this external drive, plugged it in, and was immediately able to burn the Acronis rescue disk with no issues. My laptop booted from the new rescue disk with no issues, I used it to restore my c-drive to a working configuration, and I am very, very happy. Nice external drive at a very nice price. Works great.

After a computer technician checked my external drive and said it’s dead, use it for a doorstop. The problem with this drive was it would mount and a second later uncounted, back and forth. I decided to give the Zilkee a shot before going to a data recovery company and spend mucho bucks. The drive contained a boat load of client and personal images. Zilkee is Easy to order, shipping took about a week. My expectations were low about how much I would recover, if anything. Plugged it in (wicked easy) after about 10 seconds the 2 partitions show up on my computer. I dragged and dropped all the files of one partition. Estimated for 1 TB 12 hours. What the heck, let it run. After about 1/2 hour, it recalculated the time to 3+ hours. I GOT EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, did I say EVERYTHING, BACK! The second partition contained software backup. No big deal because I still have all that on the computer and some on disk. I mentioned that to the tech guy and he was stunned! I highly recommend this product!

Can I just say that this is the coolest product I have ordered in ages? I am a computer neophyte and an old(er) guy, so I am not a techie. But, I have 3 old hard drives that I was smart enough to remove from my computers before I recycled them. I plugged in these hard drives and BINGO, all my files were there, including some very cool video files of all types that would have been lost. It is so simple. And the best thing is, some of my picture files with friends and family that are no longer with us are there too. I would have lost those, and the memories that went with them. I can't thank Zilkee enough. I got misty eyed more than a few times, This is an amazing product. Even worked on my 2006 Vista hard drive. Just the best tool!! Arrived on time in a few days.

What made this experience great was that I had just recently sent my hard drive to some data recovery specialist who quoted me $1,074 dollars to recover my lost data. A lot of it was intellectual properties that were priceless to me. Literally 2 weeks after they'd returned my hard drive I saw the add for the Zilkee Ultra recovery tool. I figured what could I lose, when I should have been saying what could I gain. 100% of my data was recovered off of an external hard drive that had literally caught on fire and partially melted. Granted the hard drive itself didn't suffer any serious damage (it was mainly the AC adapter port and the outer case). But I am elated and couldn't be happier. This was 10/10 the best outcome possible. I'd give it a 6 star rating if I could.

Bought a new Windows 11 Lenovo Laptop and in the past I would just take out the old laptop hard drive and use an adapter to transfer files. This time I decided to try the USB to USB device. and I liked this one. I watched someone's YouTube video online to get an idea as to how to use it.... even before I bought. I I would say it worked pretty good. Although I moved all my files into my photos folder on the new laptop and then later moved to the proper folders. For the price you can't go wrong.

With this recovery station, it saves time from shutting down my desktop and turn it back on. It also helps me moving files among devices so easily. This dock uses USB 3 connection so it transfers really fast. It is also compact in size to easily sit anywhere on the desk or corner. This is awesome because it’s just super convenient, especially when I don’t have SD card slots anywhere on my desktop. There’s a clone feature on this dock to easily make copy of a hard drive. This is the best so far that I’ve seen. Highly recommended if you are looking around for one.

I needed to rescue my father in law's hard drive when his PC crapped the bed. I ordered this and plugged in the sata III TB drive. It fired right up and I got lucky as I was able to get in and pull all his tens of thousands of photos and documents. This device made a man happy to rescue pictures he took of his grand kids that he thought were lost. Ill be grabbing him an external back up drive for his new PC to prevent this.
