Easy install.. download free OBS studio software to store old VHS tapes..

Easy USB install on Windows 10. I used free OBS studio software to view and store my old VHS tapes. Uses about 1/4 of my 1920x 1080 full screen pixels - but I expected that as the largest selectable OBS storage size was ~720 x 480. Only downside is you need to monitor conversion and stop storage manually where the recorded video ends or you'll get a lot of blank data at the end of the file. My audio was poor but I think because the tapes are 30 years old.

Read the full review from Dr. JimI bought this to save an old home video. I plugged in an old VHS player, connected this device to my laptop. Then I downloaded the recommended software, and played the tape. It took less than an hour to find my preferred settings. Now I have the video on a USB stick and saved to Google drive.
