This device does nothing!!!only opens…

Hi John, I'm sorry for the frustration! It sounds like it might be a file compatibility issue. The device can bypass your computer password, since it connects direct to the hard drive. However, if the files themselves are password protected, that's a different story. But it sounds like these aren't password protected files, so it could be a file compatibility issue. We run into that occasionally. We have software we can comp you that will normally solve it if that's the case.
